This harpsichord is based on the designs of Andreas Rückers, a great Flemish 17th century instrument maker. The main model is a single-manual harpsichord made by Iohannes Couchet in 1645.

The original compass C – c’’’ with a short octave bass has been enlarged to C – f’’’ (chromatic) The keyboard has bone topped naturals and ebony sharps according to Flemish tradition.
