This is a copy of a clavichord from the instrument collections at Nordiska Muséet in Stockholm (archive no: NM264785a). Its keyboard has a broken octave bass. The keyboard’s naturals have a boxwood covering and ebony topped sharps. Alternatively, the instrument can be built with a short octave bass. The instrument is equipped with brass strings.
